Lily is a beauty. . .and growing up too quickly like Tori! I wanted to say "Hello" and let you all know about the research we had done in November. We are part of the Xuwen SWI blog, and a lady named Linda Fielding from Virginia hired a lady named XiXi in China to do research for a group of us.
XiXi went to Xuwen, did research on the town, sent some "treasures" from there, took video and pictures including Tori's finding spot, reseached and sent copies of documents from Tori's SWI file, and sent us Tori's finding clothes (a very emotional experience). She did a wonderful job!
We in turn sent a letter of thanks to the orphanage and a photo album of updated pictures, along with some questions for the director and staff. The director and staff were thrilled to get the letter and photos of all the girls! (We were the only family from our travel group.)
The cost of this venture was $250 and worth every penny. XiXi is going again, and because we tested it out and were happy with the results, I though I would pass the info along.
